There are several ways to evaluate a Method Step. The first is to attest to the Step’s completeness by right-clicking on the Step and selecting Mark as Complete. The Method will preserve the Step’s completion.
The second way to evaluate a Method Step is to use the Rule Processor to evaluate a rule. Simply click on the lightning bolt on the Step, enter the appropriate information, and click Evaluate and Close.
The conformance of the Step is determined by the rule(s) associated with the Rule Processor.
The third way to evaluate a Method Step is through another Assessment Control. An Assessment Control can be created on or attached to a Method Step. The Step will inherit the overall conformance of the Assessment Control.
An Assessment Control can be created from a K-PAC Set directly on the Method Step. Or an existing Assessment Control can be attached to the Step by right-clicking on the Step and selecting Attach Assessment.
