The vision for the future of Knowledge Aware technology and the long-term success of its customers are the major software development drivers at Auros Knowledge Systems. Today, that vision is to help organizations continuously learn and effortlessly recall important know-how through the Knowledge Aware approach, using AI techniques.
Due to AI having an increased role in Auros’s future, Auros Knowledge Systems has changed the name of future release names to Auros IQ. Auros Knowledge Systems is taking steps towards reaching that vision by adopting a more agile and lean product development strategy. Auros IQ 1 is the first step of many down the path of AI.
AI in Auros IQ 1 (April 2019)
Auros’ newest release, Auros IQ 1, takes a step closer to the future of Knowledge Aware with an artificial intelligence (AI) feature, AI Discovered Learning Opportunity. The AI Discovered Learning Opportunity allows the end user to find learning opportunities in projects across time and organizational divisions.
“Almost all AI techniques need a supply of coherent data to open rate upon or ‘learn’ from. Because Auros manages knowledge directly, Auros is uniquely able to collect data about how knowledge gets used and reused. This data differentiates the Auros AI strategy,” said Jeff Moffa, Auros Knowledge Systems President.
Details on other enhancements made in the Auros IQ 1 release, such as the User Interface Enhancements and the Partner Portal, can be found in the Auros IQ 1 Release Notes document at https://www2.aurosks.com/submit/download/2083.
AI in Auros IQ 2 (September 2019)
In September 2019, Auros Knowledge Systems plans to release a new AI feature in the Auros IQ 2 release, called AI Assisted Learning Cycles. In Learning Cycles, Learning Opportunities will be systematically organized and turned into readily available knowledge for other users.
The Learning Cycle consists of six steps:
- Identifying learning opportunities from data and experience
- Identifying relevant stakeholders and teams
- Learning formalization
- Creating retained know-how
- Reusing retained know-how
- Collecting data about reuse
Auros IQ 1 and IQ 2 are both representative of the vision that Auros has for the future of AI and Knowledge Aware. Auros will continue to develop and provide the best solutions for knowledge management as the future of Knowledge Aware unfolds.
